The   trust runs two academic institutes : 1) J.M.D. Institute of Nursing and 2) J.M.D. Science College.

We are living in a fast changing world and impact of science and scientific research in our daily life is vibrant and unavoidable. Looking to the COVID 19 pandemic it is a challenging task for  nurses and student nurses to handle the situation  and they are playing a vital role in managing the corona virus outbreaks. Nurses and health workers are at the forefront of COVID 19 response, working tirelessly to care for everyone’s loved ones, even when their own lives are at risk.   Looking to the current health care system, the demand for nursing staff will increase tremendously in coming decade. As per WHO, 6 million more nurses will be required to achieve global health target. This manifests that the future of nurses is very bright looking to their job perspective.

Bachelor of Science, or B. Sc.  has always been a popular degree. This degree is a great stepping stone towards many careers, and this is one of the biggest reasons why students prefer   B.Sc. course.

In the past decade, the field of science has seen a resurgence. Newer fields including   industries have come up, which have renewed interests of students in these fields. Now, a B. Sc. degree is more than the degree you had to do to become a doctor or engineer. Students are doing B.Sc. for the new career options they have, and simply for the love of science. The future looks great for this amazing course that affects the quality of human life and will continue to do so for a long time.

In J.M.D. Institute of Nursing and Science students are exposed to a multidimensional, multicultural and challenging academic environment.    The institute inculcates the value like commitment, honesty and integrity, self-discipline, fairness and firmness amongst the students. Institute is also planning to start some skill based and value based add-on courses to go with  our vision and mission.

I welcome students   to the J.M.D. Institute of Nursing and science and wish you success in all your future endeavours.
